Werecommend a workpiece thickness between 1mm and 40mm. For ultra-thinmaterials (0.3mm to 1mm), it is necessary to reduce the diameter of thevacuum orifices on the replaceable sacrificial plate.
2. What arethe size requirements for workpieces used with SOVAC vacuum tables? Generally, a minimumindividual workpiece size of 100mm x 100mm is recommended. For smallercomponents (e.g., 50mm x 50mm), we suggest using a "nesting"(tiling) strategy. Alternatively, auxiliary clamping methods such as adhesive wax or single-sided adhesive tape can be used. 3. What arethe requirements for workpiece flatness and surface finish?
To ensure areliable vacuum seal, workpieces should typically have a surface roughness (Ra)within 3.2m and a flatness tolerance within 0.2mm.

Yes. The PRISeries is compatible with both water-based and oil-based coolants. However,for the PRO and PRE Series, we strictly recommend water-basedcoolants; oil-based cutting fluids are not advised.
5. What isthe clamping accuracy (parallelism) of SOVAC vacuum tables?
SOVAC vacuumtables feature three distinct clamping interfaces:
· Clamping accuracy of 0.04mm 0.07mm.
· Clamping accuracy of 0.02mm.
· When using a custom aluminum plate (manufactured bythe user based on our drawings), the clamping accuracy reaches 0.01mm.
2. There are three recommended cleaning modes:
· Applicable only for wetmachining. With the vacuum valve partially open, pour clean water over thesurface while the vacuum is active. The water will be sucked through theinternal structure to flush out debris. Note: This requires an AutomaticLiquid Separator in your vacuum line.
· Blow compressed air in reverse through the vacuum port to clear internalpassages.
· Use a white air-shroud to blow compressed air directly into the vacuum orificesfrom above.
· For wet machining,perform all three modes daily. For dry machining, perform Modes 2 and 3after every workpiece cycle.
7. Can SOVACvacuum tables be used on a CNC Router for wood boards?
We do notrecommend this. SOVAC systems are high-precision, high-cost clamping toolsengineered for CNC Machining Centers or high-speed engraving machinesrequiring tolerances within 0.02mm. They are primarily designed fornon-ferrous metal plates and engineering plastics (like PEEK or Delrin),rather than wood.

Forheavy-duty cutting and maximum hold-down force, we recommend a High-VacuumOil-Lubricated Rotary Vane Pump (e.g., Busch VM 100 or LeyboldLVO 100 equivalent). If using small tools (under 10mm), a vacuumgenerator may be used, provided the user has an air compressor with a powerrating exceeding 5kW.
